Our harvest is shaped by the seasons and by the people who eat it.
Not all products will be available from the very beginning of the season, and availability will naturally change as crops mature.
This list reflects what we plan to grow for the 2026 season, but it’s not exhaustive. As we grow, we’ll continue to add new varieties based on member and customer feedback.

How we portion our produce
Think of your average supermarket portions!
When you order from Northside Local, each product is counted in clear, honest portions, just like you’d expect in a supermarket, only fresher and picked for you.
Each "item" you select corresponds to a specific quantity.
- So if you choose 1 potato, you get 1kg
- Choose it twice, and you’ll receive 2kg

How portions fit in
Whether you’re a Member or not, our portions stay exactly the same.
What changes is how you access them.
- Members select their portions through their pre-purchased Bounties, enjoying priority access, better value and guaranteed availability.
- Non-members can order individual portions when the public order window opens, at standard prices and subject to remaining stock.

Why is there limited produce available to select from?
Northside Local will endeavor to have as many items available as possible by employing early seed propagation techniques in the greenhouse and transplanting outside later in the season. The first 4 weeks (i.e. June) not all items will be ready, however from July, weather permitting all produce would be in season and harvest will be bountiful. Each week the items that will be offered will aim to match popularity with seasonality.
As this farm complies with best organic growing guidelines the focus will be on quality and taste of produce which will be offered only when it is at its best.
