How Northside Local farm works
Production period
Our farm produces fresh, seasonal vegetables and fruits for approximately 20 weeks, starting from around 1st of June, following the natural rhythm of the land and the seasons.
Ordering Online
Each week, you can select from what is freshly harvested and in season. Orders are placed directly through our website via the “Order now” section, where you choose your produce and preferred delivery slot.
We then harvest accordingly and deliver straight to your door, ensuring your food travels the shortest possible distance from field to table.
When can I place my order?
The order window will open every Thursday at 23:00 and will close 48hrs later (Saturday 23:00).
Members get priority access, entering the ordering & delivery window earlier, before the general public.
When will I receive my order
Deliveries will take place Monday to Friday, with an aim to minimise the time that your order is in transport and maximise freshness.
Local markets
In addition to this, we will be attending the Westhill Farmer’s market where you will be able to purchase directly from our stands.
Depending on customer demand we will also explore options of attending selected areas with our van where orders may be collected directly.
So, how can I place an order?
Harvest season & Online Ordering opens in June
For 2026 harvest all orders will be for the general public. For 2027 harvest you can order either as a Member or as a Non-member. Both give you access to our organically grown fruits and vegetables, with the difference lying in priority, availability and value.
You just select your weekly portions and then we will confirm your delivery date and handle everything for you!
