About us
After years of growing vegetables and fruits at our back garden, Northside Local was ambitiously founded in summer 2025, shortly after our family bought a 3.6 acres plot in the outskirts of Westhill:
To the eyes of "K" aka "the Farmer" this is just a bigger back garden, only this time there is more surplus to share!
Our Vision
We aim to produce the most tasteful fruits and vegetables!
Our harvest is planned so taste and texture are as good as possible even if this means that the shelf life cannot be as long as the produce from the supermarket.
Because for us, food is meant to be enjoyed at its best.
Sustainability matters
We only grow limited quantities of vegetables and fruits.
The majority of our customers are within 10 minutes’ drive from our farm, thus the carbon footprint of the produce enjoyed on a weekly basis is notably lower than the ones found in the supermarket.
